Focus Air 16000 - electrostatic air cleaners

The Focus Air 16000 purifiers will remove smoke, pollens and other polutants in an enclosed environment. The 16000 machine is the most powerful in the range and will filter over 64000 cu ft of air per hour. eg it would be adequate in say a large lounge with lots of heavy smokers.
The machine is termed the Focus air because of its ability to be effective in odd shaped rooms. This is by adjusting louvres on the machine to 'Focus' attention into all corners of the room. The unit is supplied with a remote control to select 1 of 4 speed settings.

The Focus-Air works by directing strong high level air flows out to the corners of the room causing a return flow of poluted air from all parts of the room back to the machine where it is cleaned and recirculated.

The filter media has three stages of filtration. The main filter is a proprietory material which is inherently electrostatic. This attracts the smoke particles and each fibre of the filter gradually becomes coated. Because of this feature the filter presents a massive surface area and is effective over a long period of time - it doesn't just blockup. The other two ellements are a course particulate filter for dust etc., and an activated carbon filter to remove gasses and odours. In full time use, depending on polution levels, it is recommended that the filter is changed every 3-6 months.
